Coffee and Chocolate is inevitable. I've made chocolate covered coffee beans in the past. But I love any good crunchy chocolate bar.
In Kansas City, we're lucky enough to have our very own delicious Nano Nano vegan roastery inside Mud Pie Vegan Bakery and Coffee House.
This bar features a melange blend of Cajamarca beans (a mix of light and heavily roasted beans from Peru) crunched up into the perfect size and folded into my signature 66% raw dark chocolate. Each bite contains a different flavor; citrus, nutty, or cocoa. The flavor and crunch is elevated by the subtle fruitiness and creaminess of my chocolate. As these bars age the coffee essence slowly seeps into chocolate adding an extra rich layer of coffee liquer flavor. This bar can just as easily be enjoyed fresh, but I'd recommend buying several to enjoy over a few days.
